Fabrice Carrat, MD, PhD is a professor of biostatistics and epidemiology at Sorbonne University and a public-health practitioner at the Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris. His research themes are centred on the epidemiology of infectious diseases, including viral hepatitis. Since 2019, he is the director of the Pierre Louis Institute of Epidemiology and Public Health of Inserm (the French National Institute of Health) and Sorbonne University.
